George Alley, formerly the supervisor for Harmon Field in Tryon, is running for the N.C. House of Representatives District 113, serving Polk, Transylvania and southern Henderson counties.
The Committee to Elect George Alley will hold a meet-and-greet candidate fundraising event on Sunday, May 6 at the Tryon Depot (www.tryondepotroom.com) from 11:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Everyone is welcome to drop in to learn more about the issues, have a snack and show their support.
Alley said the Democratic Party asked him to run as a candidate for the District 113 House of Representatives seat.
