The White Oak of Tryon Relay for Life Committee will hold a bake sale and car wash on Friday, April 27 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the White Oak driveway. The event will benefit Relay for Life.
Stephen Whiteside, a White Oak of Tryon employee, has organized the event. The cost of a car wash is a donation to the Relay for Life team.
Baked goods will be priced for sale. Mary Lance, adminstrator said, “Every time we have a fundraiser the family members of our residents and our apartment residents donate delicious items for sale. They are just wonderful about contributing and we certainly do appreciate their efforts.”
Committee chairperson Georgia Pack said, “The Tryon community has always been supportive when we raise money and this is a win/win for everyone. Where else can you get your car washed and buy some great homemade goodies at the same time?”
