Muddy Mountain Madness team comes in fifth

Wendi Jordan (left), Mandy Wolfe, Lori Geddings and Alexia Boyd, the Muddy Mountain Madness team, competed in the U.S.M.C. Ultimate Challenge Mud Run in Columbia, S.C. on Saturday, April 21. The team placed fifth in the all female division with a finish time of 1:34:47. The Leather Neck course is a 5.2-mile all-terrain obstacle course designed by a former Marine drill instructor to test each team mentally, morally and physically. The 36 obstacles include mud holes, walls, trenches, and more. The event requires swimming, crawling, climbing, jumping, determination and team work. (photo submitted by Wendi Jordan)
