Representative Trudi Walend visited a recent meeting of the Rotary Club of Tryon. Walend represents the N.C. 113th legislative district, which includes Transylvania, Polk and Henderson counties. She retired from the General Assembly after five terms but was recently reappointed to fill the vacancy of Representative David Guice, who was appointed by Governor Beverly Perdue to head the Division of Community Corrections.
