Spartanburg County authorities are seeking input from anyone who might have seen Fred Wayne Ramsey of Inman, S.C. on Thursday, April 12, the last day they believe Ramsey was seen alive.

Ramsey’s body was found by a jogger around 4 p.m. Friday, April 13 about 55 feet off Old Asheville Highway in Campobello, according to a press release from the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities confirmed Monday morning that Ramsey was shot, which resulted in his death. They said investigators continue to work to determine whether he was murdered at the location his body was found or was killed somewhere else.
