A female ambilobe chameleon now owned by Lynnea Stadelmann of the Foothills Herpetological Society clings to the hand of its former owner’s son. If you like reptiles or would like to learn more about them, you are invited to attend the society’s first meeting of the year at FENCE on Sunday, April 15 at 2 p.m. The group will meet at the shelter at the end of the gravel parking area just to the right of the main entrance. The club is open to anyone in the area who has an interest in reptiles and amphibians, and there are no dues to join. If you have a nonvenomous scaly friend to share, feel free to bring him/her. For more information, contact Lynnea Stadelmann at 864-457-2426 or visit www.meetup.com/foothillsherps. (photo submitted by Lynnea Stadelmann)
