Barbara A. Gotshaw died on March 16, 2012 at Beystone Health & Rehabilitation in Brevard, N.C.
She was born in Detroit, Mich. to the late Harold and Evelyn Gotshaw and Ruth McCauley. She was a granddaughter to the late Jesse and Ida Caldwell. She was also preceded in death by her sisters; Dorothy Gotshaw and Alice Gotshaw Batson.
Surviving are her four brothers, Richard Hall of New York and Keith, Robert and Steve Gotshaw of Garden City, Mich.; one sister, Linda Doyle of Garden City, Mich.; many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews that loved her dearly;  one niece that shared her life, Susette Hyatt and husband, Richard, of Mill Spring, N.C.
Aunt Barbara, you have now crossed over the rainbow bridge. Your simple life and love for animals has left a lot of memories for those who knew you. We love you and you will be greatly missed.
The family would like to thank all the many friends that visited Barbara and showed their support during this difficult time and also to all those who helped with her care at Beystone Health & Rehabilitation.
