Koneta Kimler Pemberton

Koneta Kimler Pemberton, 83, of Golden Rd., Tryon, died Saturday, March 18, 2012 in St. Luke’s Hospital, Columbus.
Born in Huntington, W.V., she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Lucian Kimler.  She was the widow of H. Lloyd Pemberton, who died in 1963. Mrs. Pemberton came to Polk County from Huntington in 2002. She attended the Meeting Place in Tryon for the past 10 years and will be missed by her many friends there as well as her five cats.
She is survived by: a son, Michael Pemberton of Tryon; two daughters, Judith Pemberton of Richmond, Calif. and Nancy Pemberton of Tryon; a brother, Forest Kimler of St. Augustine, Fla. and a special niece, Debbie Smith of Chesapeake, Ohio.
A memorial service will be held at a later in Huntington, W.V.
