Polk district court results

In Polk County District Court held Wednesday, March 7 with Judge Athena F. Brooks presiding 156 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.
The following persons were convicted of a crime (names are given as they appear in court records):
Angelo Markeith Boyce was convicted of driving while license revoked. Boyce was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $400 fine and court costs.
Carlos Junior Corea was convicted of speeding 98 mph in a 65 mph zone. Corea was fined $98 and court costs.
Daniel Flores was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce and possession of drug paraphernalia. Flores was sentenced to one year supervised probation and court costs.
Daniel James Flores was convicted of simple possession of a schedule IV controlled substance. Flores was sentenced to one year supervised probation and court costs.
Heather Gail Foster was convicted of felony probation violation. Foster’s probation was terminated.
David Jeremy Garren was convicted of felony probation violation out of county. Garren’s probation was terminated.
Julius Jamal Hannon was convicted of misdemeanor probation violation out of county. Hannon’s probation was terminated.
Andrew Tristan Howard was convicted of speeding 95 mph in a 65 mph zone. Howard was fined $95 and court costs.
Nickolas R. Lehman was convicted of speeding 92 mph in a 65 mph zone. Lehman was fined $92 and court costs.
Sandy Toms Matthews was convicted of misdemeanor probation violation out of county. Matthews’ probation was terminated.
Roger Eugene Oliver was convicted of level 4 driving while impaired. Oliver was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 48 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.
Chasity Michele Putnam was convicted of driving while license revoked and failure to appear on misdemeanor. Putnam was sentenced to seven days in jail with credit for time served.
Larry L. Simpson Jr. was convicted of level 5 driving while impaired. Simpson was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, one day in jail, a $100 fine and court costs.
Sandra Renee Smith was convicted of failure to appear on misdemeanor. Smith was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $50 fine and court costs.
