Polk district court results

In Polk County District Court held Wednesday, Feb. 15 with Judge Mack Brittain presiding 80 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court. The following persons were convicted of a crime (names are printed as they appear in court records):

Keith Preston Bradley was convicted of felony possession of schedule II controlled substance. Bradley was sentenced to six months supervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.

Danny Thomas Coxie was convicted of felony possession of methamphetamine. Coxie was sentenced to three years supervised probation, 10 days in jail with credit for time served, a $200 fine and court costs.

Stewart Bane Davis was convicted of failure to wear seat belt-driver. Davis was fined $25.50 and court costs.

Randolph Galarza was convicted of possession of synthetic cannabinoids. Galarza was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $50 fine and court costs.

Kacy Denise Gosnell was convicted of unauthorized use of motor vehicle. Gosnell was sentenced to 18 months supervised probation, five days in jail with credit for time served, $65 in restitution, a $100 fine and court costs.

Ricky Eugene Greenway was convicted of possession with intent to sell and deliver opium or heroin, felony possession of schedule II controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Greenway was sentenced to three years supervised probation, 10 days in jail with credit for time served, a $250 fine and court costs.

William James Lyda was convicted of second degree trespassing. Lyda was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation and court costs.
