The Literary Open Stage returns this Friday, Feb. 17, at the Upstairs Artspace in Tryon. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the readings begin at 7 p.m.
All are welcome to read their original work for 10 minutes.
“This series has been a great success and we have heard some incredible work over the past couple of years,” Upstairs officials said. “There is a core group of regulars and each event offers some interesting surprises from new and established local authors. We never know who will show, but we have never been disappointed!”
Work ranges from prose to poetry to song, and from fiction to non-fiction, with a common thread of high quality original literature.
Come to read or enjoy the work of others in a supportive environment. Sign in to present from 6:30 to 7 p.m.
