Western Carolina University conferred degrees on approximately 562 students who completed their studies during the fall semester. Of the undergraduates, 33 graduated summa cum laude (with highest honors), 51 graduated magna cum laude (with high honors) and 68 graduate cum laude (with honors).
Among those graduating were Kristin N. Houser-Wood of Mill Spring, who received a master of science degree in human resources, and Jonathan Baxter Wilson of Mill Spring, who received a B.S. in physical education.
