Do you have a dream but something stops you from realizing it?  Or no matter how hard you try, nothing seems to work out?
A creative graphic journaling workshop offered by the Tryon Arts and Crafts School (TACS) will offer tools and techniques using color, pen, paper and other media to produce a personal graphic journal enabling you to explore your dreams and find the obstacles stopping you. No experience necessary, just the desire to create the life you want to live.
The two-day workshop will be held at TACS on Saturday, Jan. 21, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Sunday, Jan. 22, noon to 4 p.m. TACS is located at 373 Harmon Field Road in Tryon.
Instructor Cindy Shafer was born in Orlando, Fla., where she lived until October 2011, when she followed her dreams and moved to Saluda. Shafer has a B.A. in communications from the University of Central Florida. She also leads workshops in art healing and graphic journaling. She does energy work including Reiki as well as other modalities.
Advance registration for all classes and workshops is required. For more information about the instructor or workshop, including tuition and supply costs, please contact Tryon Arts & Crafts at 828-859-8323 or by email at tryonartsandcrafts@windstream.net.  More details and examples of projects are available on the Tryon Arts and Crafts website, www.TryonArtsandCrafts.org.
