Polk County and Landrum high schools both held homecoming celebrations Friday, Oct. 14. Polk’s homecoming court winners are shown in the photo on the left above. Allie Clayton (center) was named Polk County High School’s homecoming queen, Jamie Hroback (left) was maid of honor and Maddy Howell was Miss Wolverine. The photo on the right above shows Landrum’s homecoming court winners. Alexis Brannon  (center) was elected Landrum High School’s homecoming queen, Morgan Waters (right) was first runner-up and Eva Barron (left) was second runner-up.
