On Saturday, Sept. 17, there will be a special exhibit from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the Polk County Historical Association Museum located at 60 Walker Street in Columbus.
On display will be many examples of the Tryon Toy Makers’ and Wood Carvers’ work.

At 2 p.m. on that day, local historians Michael McCue and Rick Dunn will discuss the history of the Tryon Toy Makers and the Wood Carvers.
This event is a one-time opportunity to see the private collection and hear about the history of the Tryon Toy Makers and Wood Carvers.
Local artist Richard Baker will be available to sketch displayed artifacts for a small charge, to benefit the museum. Admission to the exhibit is free.
