Christine Mariotti, local artist and instructor will repeat the workshop “Draw til You Drop” at the Tryon Painters and Sculptors new gallery and studio space located at 26 Maple Street in Tryon.

The popular class, designed for those who are new to drawing or think they cannot draw, will be held Friday, Aug. 19 and Saturday, Aug. 20 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. each day.
The exercises in the workshop are based on Betty Edwards’ book, “Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain.” It is intended to guide the artist through basic exercises that permit one to see the world more creatively and to draw what one really sees instead of what one thinks they see.

There is a member and non-member fee for the class.
