Polk County District Court results, July 13 session

In Polk County District Court held on Wednesday, July 13, 2011 with Judge Athena F. Brooks presiding, 133 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.
The following persons were convicted of a crime (names are given as they appear in court records):
Joe Young Bennett was convicted of speeding 34 mph in a 25 m.p.h. zone. Bennett was fined $40 and court costs.
Michael Wayne Bullis was convicted of operating a vehicle with impaired equipment. Bullis was fined $11 and court costs.
Brandon Claren Burgess was convicted of misdemeanor breaking and/or entering, misdemeanor larceny after breaking and/or entering and injury to real property. Burgess was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.
Debra Abbott Carton was convicted of speeding 44 m.p.h. in a 35 m.p.h. zone. Carton was fined $40 and court costs.
John Francis Gargiulo was convicted of speeding 44 m.p.h. in a 35 m.p.h. zone. Garguilo was fined $40 and court costs.
Bryan Emanuel Ghent was convicted of speeding 74 m.p.h. in a 65 m.p.h. zone. Ghent was fined $5 and court costs.
Duncan G. Herbert was convicted of level 5 driving while impaired. Herbert was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.
Andrea Parker Horner was convicted of speeding 74 m.p.h. in a 65 m.p.h. zone. Horner was fined $40 and court costs.
Ryan Ricky Houston was convicted of operating a vehicle with impaired equipment. Houston was fined $11 and court costs.
Garland Wil Kuykendall was convicted of driving while license revoked. Kuykendall was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.
Christopher J. Lindsey was convicted of consumption of alcohol by 19/20 year old. Lindsey was fined $75 and court costs.
Danny Kyle Martin was convicted of failure to appear on misdemeanor. Martin was fined $100 and court costs.
Dylan Andrew Moore was convicted of speeding 65 mph in a 55 mph zone. Moore was fined $40 and court costs.
Adjin Muharemovic was convicted of speeding 92 m.p.h. in a 65 m.p.h. zone. Muharemovic was fined $92 and court costs.
Stacey Ann Murray was convicted of misdemeanor larceny. Murray was sentenced to 30 days in jail with credit for time served.
Jesse Lee Ruff was convicted of assault by pointing a gun, assault with a deadly weapon and felony breaking and/or entering. Ruff was sentenced to two years supervised probation, $3,990 in restitution and court costs.
Marlon Shane Ruff was convicted of possession of stolen goods, possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver a schedule VI controlled substance and maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place for a controlled substance. Ruff was sentenced to two years supervised probation, $3,990 in restitution and court costs.
Serrano Jesus Vargas was convicted of over-age person aiding and abetting possession. Vargas was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.
Todd Edward Wolny was convicted of a concealed handgun permit violation. Wolny was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.
Judith Huggins Wrenn was convicted of speeding 34 m.p.h. in a 25 m.p.h. zone. Wrenn was fined $40 and court costs.
Faye Angelyn Yates was convicted of speeding 44 m.p.h. in a 35 m.p.h. zone. Yates was fined $40 and court costs.
