In Polk County District Court held on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 with Judge Peter Knight presiding, 197 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.
The following persons were convicted of a crime (names are printed as they appear in court records):
Stephanie Amanda Allen was convicted of level 2 driving while impaired. Allen was sentenced to one year supervised probation, seven days in jail, a $200 fine and court costs.
Brenda Brandon Ashley was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Ashley was fined $40 and court costs.
Allen Wayne Black was convicted of level 5 driving while impaired. Black was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.
Christopher Brotherton was convicted of level 5 driving while impaired. Brotherton was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.
Jordan Keith Carter was convicted of driving after consuming under age 21. Carter was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $50 fine and court costs.
Casey Dean Cline was convicted of speeding 92 mph in a 65 mph zone. Cline was fined $91 and court costs.
Austin Lee Durham was convicted of speeding 44 mph in a 35 mph zone. Durham was fined $60 and court costs.
Ashley Nichole Edwards was convicted of level 2 driving while impaired. Edwards was sentenced to 18 months supervised probation, seven days in jail, a $350 fine and court costs.
Robert Sean Ellis was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce. Ellis was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $60 fine and court costs.
Nicholas Clay Garrett was convicted of fishing trout water during closed season, using a trotline with live bait and possession of natural bait in trout waters. Garrett was fined $35 and court costs.
Walter Fountai Goodman was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce. Goodman was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $60 fine and court costs.
Richard W. Hartnott was convicted of operating a vehicle with impaired equipment. Hartnott was fined $40 and court costs.
Eric Alvare Hernandez was convicted of failure to comply with community service. Hernandez’ unsupervised probation was terminated.
Brandon Scott Hudson was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce and possession of drug paraphernalia. Hudson was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $75 fine and court costs.
Keli Dakota Juswick was convicted of operating a vehicle with impaired equipment. Juswick was fined $40 and court costs.
Errol Raymond Lambert was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Lambert was fined $40 and court costs.
Tiffani Marie Miller was convicted of speeding 91 mph in a 65 mph zone. Miller was fined $91 and court costs.
Randy William Nelon was convicted of misdemeanor breaking and/or entering and misdemeanor larceny. Nelon was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation and court costs.
Eric James Owens was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Owens was fined $30 and court costs.
Michael Jason Potter was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 65 mph zone. Potter was fined $40 and court costs.
Paul Riley was convicted of speeding 97 mph in a 65 mph zone. Riley was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $97 fine and court costs.
Robert Ernest Shinn Jr. was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Shinn was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.
Lindley M. Slade was convicted of speeding 92 mph in a 65 mph zone. Slade was fined $92 and court costs.
Theodore Edmund Smith was convicted of speeding 46 mph in a 25 mph zone. Smith was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $50 fine and court costs.
Mark Eugene Snelson was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Snelson was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.
Joshua Bradle Treneer was convicted of speeding 92 mph in a 65 mph zone. Treneer was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $92 fine and court costs.
Tyrone G. Williams was convicted of speeding 96 mph in a 65 mph zone. Williams was fined $96 and court costs.

Joshua Lee Ayers was convicted of speeding 52 mph in a 35 mph zone. Ayers was fined $30 and court costs.
Michael Shane Bishop was convicted of level 1 driving while impaired. Bishop was sentenced to 12 months supervised probation, 20 days in jail, a $300 fine and court costs.
Aaron Thomas Brummer was convicted of three counts of felony obtaining property under false pretenses. Brummer was sentenced to 8 to 10 months in prison.
Jessica Ashley Fisher was convicted of driving left of center, two counts of simple possession of a schedule III controlled substance and possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce. Fisher was sentenced to eight days in jail with credit for time served.
Theresa Eileen Murphy was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Murphy was sentenced to 24 hours of community service and court costs.
Jeffrey Eugene Page was convicted of two counts of shoplifting. Page was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service and court costs.
Phillip Daniel Points was convicted of level 5 driving while impaired. Points was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, one day in jail, a $100 fine and court costs.
Ty Andrew Walter was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce. Walter was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.
