Jeff Stikeleather of Mill Spring recently caught this raccoon burglar in the act of stealing birdseed. “We have known for some time that a raccoon was raiding our bird feeder,” Stikeleather said. “I would see the feeder moving and when I opened the door with the light on I got the expression from the raccoon you see in the photo.” To get away, the raccoon had to scamper down the rail to the tree and down to the ground 11 feet below, Stikeleather said.
