Resource fair was a success

On Tuesday, May 3, the Polk County Council on Aging hosted a resource fair at The Meeting Place Senior Center from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., with more than 30 vendors.
The fair was the “kick-off” event for Older Americans Month. Lunch and entertainment was provided to all who attended and door prizes were given out during event.
The fair was sponsored by Polk County Council on Aging, Area Agency on Aging, American Legion, Polk Life Care and LaurelHurst/Laurel Woods.
