The Glassy Mountain Fire Department (GMFD) recently announced the 9th Annual Rummage and Bake Sale, a fundraiser that benefits the fire department and ultimately the community, is set for Saturday, May 7 from 7:30 a.m. – noon, rain or shine, at the Beaver Dam Fire Station, located at 315 Beaver Dam Road, off Highway 25 (2.7 miles north of Route 11).

Furniture, appliances, tools, sporting equipment, home décor, clothing and more will be available. Home-baked desserts, cakes, cookies and other goodies will also be available for sale.
