The Tryon Painters and Sculptor’s Art, Wine, and Cheese program will feature local potter Jim Cullen.

Cullen will speak about his work and how he creates unusual surface techniques on ceramics. The public is invited to this free event to be held on Monday, April 25 at 4 p.m. in the Mahler Room of the Fine Arts Center in Tryon.

Cullen has exhibited his work at the Tryon Arts and Crafts Center and at many local galleries and exhibitions. He has extensive knowledge of texturing pottery and also of applying dramatic glazes.
