Pearson receives yellow belt

Alex Pearson successfully tested for his children’s yellow belt Saturday, Feb. 19 at The Aikido Club of Try-Co-Lan dojo. Pearson was first introduced to Aikido in the Tryon Elementary After-School Enrichment Program in the fall of 2008. He began regular Aikido training at the dojo in November 2010. (photo submitted)
