The Tryon County Club dogfight group held one event on Sunday, Feb. 6. The team of Steve Walker and Hub Arledge won first place in the team event at +10. Second went to Tommy Gardner and Billy Walker with a +5 score. The individual event was a tie at +6 between Hub Arledge and Rich Metcalf.

The closest to the hole winners were #5 and #9 (Gary Laughter) #14 (Jeff Raines) and #18 (Hub Arledge).

The following are the Men’s Play Day results. The format was a blind draw best net ball of three. First place went to Rody Dayvault, Don Weinberger and Jim Shirley with a 28.

Second place went to John Albree, Norm Johnson and John Gargiulo with a score of 29. Closest to the hole on #9 was won by Ken Johnston.
