The Western Carolina Classic Radio Club (WCCR) will meet Monday, Feb. 21 at 2 p.m. in Studio 118 on the ICC Polk campus.

In the years of 1943 to 1945, Universal Pictures produced six “Inner Sanctum” movies starring Lon Chaney Jr.

The club will have a first time showing of “Pillow of Death.” This movie was filmed in 1945 and tells the story of the eccentric and wealthy Kincaid family who calls a physic investigator to put an end to the mysterious happenings in the weird and spooky mansion. The film stars Chaney and Brenda Joyce, i.e. Jane in the “Tarzan” movies.

These films are not shown on the usual TV channels and have comic moments. The radio version of “Inner Sanctum” ran from January 1941 to October 1952.

Professor Hoyt will return with his radio trivia quiz.

Around 3:10 p.m., the Winter Jazz Series will feature pianist Dave Brubeck.
