Spartanburg Youth! Theatre announces its third production of the 2010-2011 season, “Lilly’s Purple Plastic Purse,” on Feb. 11 at 4:30 and 7 p.m. and Feb. 12 at 2 p.m.

Meet Lilly — “Queen of the World” and “Lover of Everything!” Lilly loves cheese snacks, her new red boots, her best friends Wilson and Chester, her new teacher Mr. Slinger and especially her brand new purse that plays music whenever it’s opened. In fact, she loves her new purse so much that it gets her in trouble — and she learns that making mistakes is all a part of growing up.

This year, the Spartanburg Youth Theatre will be doing a special event.
