Say hello to the American Staffordshire Terrier, amstaff. They are beautiful, loving and loyal, but they carry with them a bad reputation brought on by those who own them, not themselves.
Unfortunately, the people needed to be reached do not read this column or follow the many programs that support these animals. So, it is up to you and I and others who lend their support to do what we can.
Rescues are full, fosters are full and more often then not, F.H.S. gets an influx such as what is depicted. At this time only Falcon is under my purview, though I love them all.
Visit them, speak for them and please help us help them, because sad to say, “Love is not enough.”
