Coop not coup flock of foul fools

To the Editor:
Coup: Noun, A brilliantly executed stratagem; a triumph.
As in a coup d’état; or a sudden appropriation of leadership or power; a takeover: a boardroom coup.

Coop: Noun,  residence of chickens.

Regarding article by Leah Justice re: Chicken Coups blocked within the city limits of Landrum:
The City of Landrum Delivered a Bold Coup to Owners of Chicken COOPS.
Do you proofread articles before they are sent to press?
Kindly encourage use of Spellcheck and Roget’s Thesaurus, to avert such misuse of language, thereby having the TDB reading and looking like a flock of fowl fools.
