Elaine Cox Caudill, age 80, of 1016 Fletcher Street, Wilkesboro, N.C., died Monday, Dec. 20, 2010 at Britthaven of Wilkesboro.

She was the daughter of the late J.W. and Zola Woodie Cox. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Hubert L., Byron, Wilford, Woodie, Paul and Alfred Cox.

She is survived by a nephew, Larry Cox and his wife Lynne of Wilkesboro; a niece, Christina Drawdy and her husband Charles of Tryon; a nephew, Jimmy Cox and his wife Jeanne of Kern Valley, Calif.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Grandview Memorial Funeral Home in Sparta is serving the Caudill family.
