Tryon Christmas parade today

Tryon will hold its annual Christmas parade today, Wednesday, Dec. 8, at 5 p.m.
The parade will travel through downtown Tryon and will feature many participants from area businesses and organizations, high school bands and local fire departments. Santa’s sleigh will be a highlight of the parade. Children can also visit Santa after the parade at the Tryon Fire Department on Howard St across from Rogers Park.
Anyone who wants to be part of the parade is welcome; there is no charge to participate.
All participants should line up at 4:15 p.m. on New Market Road behind Sidestreet Pizza & Pasta.
