Editors Note: the following letter was forwarded by Polk resident Sherry Carney. The recent care packages were sent following the Memorial Day Singing for the Soldiers event held in Columbus.

Words cant express the appreciation we have here for the packages that were sent here to Camp Alamo. You have a wonderful organization. I want you to know that the soldiers love the items in the care packages and know that the stuff will be given to any soldier that needs anything. &bsp;
