Pastor Jason B. Camp of the Community Church of the Foothills in Landrum is urging supporters to join in a protest of prayer Friday, June 18 at noon in front of the Spartanburg City Hall. The protest prayer is designed to convince Spartanburg Mayor Junie White to reverse his decision to sign a proclamation declaring Saturday, June 19 as LGBT (Lesbian Gay Bisexual and Transgender) Pride Day in Spartanburg.
“I would love to see a lake of Christians praying for the city of Spartanburg show up at city hall on the 18th,” said Camp.
All are invited.
