Leroy Montgomery Gallman

Leroy Montgomery Gallman, 80, of 312 Hickory Nut Drive, Mill Spring, died Monday, June 8, 2010 at his home.

Born in Union, S.C., he was the son of the late Oetzel and Cleo Adams Gallman. He was the owner of Gallmans Auto Parts in Union and Columbus for 60 years. Leroy was a member of the S.C. National Guard. stationed at Fort McClellan. and was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Union. Mr. Gallman was a very active member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church in Mill Spring.

Surviving are his wife, Brenda Kirby Gallman; two sons, Stan Gallman (Karen) of Union and Danny Tapp of Mill Spring; three daughters, Pam Cavender (Danny) of Union, Tana Lee (Chris) and Tammy Jackson, both of Mill Spring; one brother, Dean Gallman (Betty Jo) of Union; and one sister, Della Gibbs (Sonny) of Union. Also surviving are seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held&bsp; at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 9, 2010 in Bethlehem United Methodist Church, with Rev. Danny Tapp, Rev. Albert Teague, and Rev. John James Powell officiating.

Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Family to receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday just prior to the service in the church.
