Ronald Robert Skadow, 68, of 1888 Red Fox Road, husband of Patricia Coon Skadow, died Thursday, May 20, 2010 at his residence.

Born in Chicago, Ill., he was the son of the late Robert H. and Lois Daumke Skadow.

Mr. Skadow was a graduate of Northwestern University, class of 1962, and Northwestern University School of Law, class of 1966. He was retired from Center Plate and Canteen Corporation as general counsel.

He was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church and was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.

Surviving, in addition to his wife of 42 years, are a son, Peter Coon Skadow and wife, Kristy R. Skadow, of Tryon.

Skadow Scholarship Fund for St. Marys Catholic School, 101 Hampton Avenue, Greenville, S.C. 2960l. Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 25, 2010 from 10:30 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. at St. Marys Catholic Church, Sacred Heart Hall. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 12 p.m. in the church.
