The results are in for Tryon Downtown Development Associations First Annual Texas Hold Em Tournament fundraiser. The May 8 event was held at Kyotos Pub with all players making a $100 donation to TDDAs projects and operations.

Clark Benson finished third after a huge comeback from having the lowest chip stack among the remaining players. On the final hand with two players heads up and all the chips in, Dan Hecht held a full house against Bill Ulreys triple eights.

Dan, Bill, and Clark each received engraved poker chip set trophies acknowledging their accomplishments for first, second, and third place finishes, respectively.

Additionally, all players participating in the tournament were presented with complimentary Morris t-shirts and $10 in redeemable Morris bucks from Tryon House, apparel and gifts.
