SpringSkunk Music Fest in Greer May 14 and 15

The folks who put on the Albino Skunk Bluegrass Festival in the fall say they are excited to announce the First Ever SpringSkunk Music Fest.&bsp; Fans of the fall SkunkFest can now enjoy the same outdoor music experience in the spring. SpringSkunk will feature mostly local and regional artists performing Americana, bluegrass and acoustic music.&bsp; The line-up also includes bands from Maine, Texas, and Australia.

The fest is held at the SkunkFarm. an old farm place in the Blue Ridge area of Greenville County, near Greer, S.C. and nearby Spartanburg and Greenville.

The music line-up for Friday includes The HoneyCutters (Asheville), Packway Handle Band (Athens), The Red Hot Poker Dots (Australia), The Bad Popes (Greenville), Angela Easterling (Taylors), The Trishas (Texas) and Bent Strings (Taylors).

The music line-up for Saturday includes Scott Miller (Knoxville), David Via (Virginia), Shannon Whitworth (Brevard), The Red Hot Poker Dots (Australia), Buncombe Turnpike (Asheville), The Tough Cats (Maine), Moon Shine Babies (Brevard) Mandolin Orange (Carrboro, N.C.) and The Bent Strings (S.C.).
