Jean Granny Bridges

Jean Granny Bridges, 91, of Green Creek died Thursday, April 15, 2010 at the Smith-Phayer Hospice House in Landrum. &bsp;
Born in Polk County, she was the daughter of the late Donald Roland and Vada Spurlin Fagan.&bsp; She was the widow of Marion Woodrow Bridges, who died in 1990. She was a member of Green Creek First Baptist Church. Mrs. Bridges was a retired textile employee. She was preceded in death by a son, Bobby L. Bridges and his wife Donna Bridges.
Surviving are two sons, Bill Bridges of Green Creek and Jim Bridges (Shirley) of Columbus.&bsp; Also surviving are five grandchildren, Rusty Bridges, Brian D. Bridges, Kathryn Sutherland (Michael), Brett Bridges (Kelly) and Blake Bridges (Vicki). Also five great grandchildren and special friend and caregiver Janice Fagan.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 17, 2010 in Green Creek First Baptist Church, with Rev. Allen Mc-
Kinney and Rev. Gary Lockee officiating.
Burial will be in Green Creek First Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the service Saturday.
