Robert Christopher ‘R. C.’ Pace

Robert Christopher R.C. Pace, 85, of Landrum died March 30, 2010.&bsp; He was the son of the late Bob and Cora Metcalf Pace. He was a member of Fairview Baptist Church and a retired farmer. He served in the US Army during WWII.

He is survived by two sons, Dennis Pace and wife Vickie and Dexter Pace and wife Julie all of Landrum; two daughters, Donna Pruitt and husband Darron of Taylors and Debbie Beasley of Nashville; a brother, B.L. Pace of Tigerville; three sisters, Amy Blackwell of Columbus, Macy Blackwell of Tigerville and Mildred Metcalf of Saluda; four grandchildren, Ryan, John, Joshua and Emilio; four great grandchildren, Maranda, Kathleen, Joseph and Jackson; and a good friend Helen Cox.

He was predeceased by brothers and sisters, Garvin, Leonard, Arley, Glenn and Nethlee Pace, Ora Belue, Ellie Burns, and Betty Staton.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Camp Care Nursing Home.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 1, 2010 at Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by Rev. Chuck Mullinax.

The family is at their respective homes.
