Katherine Blackwell Moore, 71, of 1390 Bethesda Road went home to be with the Lord on February 28, 2010. She was the daughter of the late Floyd Leander and Eva Peace Blackwell. She was a member of Beaumont United Methodist Church and retired from Mary Black Hospital.
She is survived by four brothers, Robert Blackwell of Tryon, Harold Blackwell of Spartanburg, Willard Blackwell of Spartanburg and Jerry Blackwell of Cross Hill; a sister, Pauline DeLoach of Spartanburg. She was predeceased by brothers, Paul, James, and Richard Blackwell.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Beaumont United Methodist Church conducted by Rev. Ed Traxler and Rev. Everett Pierce. The body will be placed in the church at 1 p.m. on Thursday. Burial will be in Greenville in Woodlawn Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Blackwell, Roger Blackwell, Doug Gill, Chuck Britton, Rick Morgan and Michael Blackwell.
