Calvin Dave Edwards, Sr., of 550 Landrum Mill Road died February 26, 2010. He was the son of the late Dave and Clara Mae Elledge Edwards and husband of Betty Surrett Edwards.

He was a member of Campobello United Methodist Church and retired from Bigelow Sanford.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Garry Edwards (Brenda) of Norwood, NC; a daughter, Beth Davis (Al) of Gaffney; four grandchildren, Matt Davis (Casey), Sarah Davis, Brittani Edwards and Lacey Edwards; and two nephews Joe Belcher of Asheville and Carroll Belcher of Spartanburg. He was predeceased by a son, David Edwards.
The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00pm Sunday, February 28, 2010 at Petty Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 3:00pm in the funeral home chapel conducted by Rev. Ron Towery, Rev. John Morrell and Rev. Dean Elliott.
Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
