Sound of Music was absolutely enchanting

To the Editor:

I was a little fly on the wall working in the TLT workshop for several weeks prior to the opening of Sound of Music. I watched as Christine and Rebecca painted the flats transforming them from a flat canvas to a lovely mansion and the inside of the Abby.

I also had the good fortune to be present when children rehearsed their songs. They sounded good on the first day of practice and even better as they perfected their songs. I was pretty certain that it would be a success on opening night. &bsp;

I was there on opening night and wow. I was blown away with what I saw and heard. The audience gave them a standing ovation and it was well deserved. As good as any Broadway play I have seen (and I have seen many).

Here in the Tryon area we are so fortunate to have veterans like Chris, Patty, Teena, Mark, Sandy, Susie, Peggy, Charlie, Lavin and all the new comers to the TLT stage. &bsp;
