Former Polk commissioner Harry Denton has filed to try get back on the county board. Denton, a Republican, lost by 66 votes in the 2008 Primary. He joins Ray Gasperson (D), Ricky McFalls (D) and Tommy Melton (Unaffiliated), who previously filed for the county board, which has three open seats.
