The Carolina Foothills AFS/Polk County Chapter is looking for families who will be interested in hosting a foreign exchange student next school year.

They are looking for families in Polk County and Landrum and Campobello, S.C.

As a host family you open your home and your heart to a high school student from another culture. The student will be a part of your family and participate in family and local school activities, as well as activities especially for the AFS students.

Hosting a student from another part of the world is a very rewarding experience that creates lifelong friendships, and helps make the world a more peaceful place through intercultural understanding.
