Ronald Tillman Collins, 60, of 107 Brady Rd., Moore, S.C. died Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at his home.
Born in Spartanburg, S.C., he was the son of Audrey Alexander Collins of Spartanburg and the late Walter David Collins. A veteran of the Vietnam War era, he served in the U.S. Navy Submarine Service. He was a member of American Legion Post #250 in Tryon and a member of the Landrum Masonic Lodge # 278. Mr. Collins attended River Hills Baptist Church in Moore, S.C.
Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife; Judy D. Collins; two sons, Lee and Mark Collins both of Startex, S.C.; one brother, Michael Collins and his wife Ethel of Campobello; one sister, Patsy Karczewski and her husband Daniel of Manning, S.C. Also three nieces and nine nephews.
Memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, February 13, 2010 in the McFarland Funeral Chapel, Tryon, with Pastor Kent Smith officiating.
Masonic rites will be conducted by Landrum Lodge #278 and military rites by the Polk County Memorial Burial Squad.
Family will be at the home.
