The third grade art classes at O.P. Earle Elementary School have been creating clay bowls. These Bowls of Hope are part of a service learning project that the students are making for Souper Family Night which will be held on February 18.

Families may purchase their students bowl prior to the event. All remaining bowls will be donated to the Souper Family Night event for the public to purchase. There will be many varieties of soups to choose from and all proceeds for this fund raiser will be donated to Relay for Life.

The Bowls of Hope soup will be served in the schools cafeteria from 5:30 to 6 p.m. Following the soup supper, teachers will be conducting a series of workshops that organizers hope parents will find helpful. The workshops will begin at 6 p.m. and last until 7 p.m.. Each workshop will last about 20 to 30 minutes and parents will be able to choose from a variety of workshop topics.
