A financial aid workshop will be held in the Landrum High School Cafeteria on Thursday, January 21, at 6 p.m.

Parking will be available on the left side of the school in the student parking area; enter the cafeteria from this parking area. The general public is invited, but the workshop will be especially helpful to seniors and their parents.

A college representative will conduct the workshop to discuss the financial aid process in general and to answer specific questions. Since most aspects of financial aid are universal, having a representative from a college will ensure that all questions can be addressed.

Some of the topics to be discussed are the types of financial aid, the Pell Grant, the South Carolina Tuition Grant, various loan programs, work study, and private/institutional scholarships.
