Ron Carroll, 67, of 219 Stones Throw Drive went home to be with the Lord the same day as his mother on December 27, 2009.

He was son of the late Albert Fair and Charlotte Jamerson Carroll and husband of Lorettta King Carroll. &bsp;

He attended Stateline Baptist Church.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Ron Carroll Jr. and James Lee Carroll and a daughter, Laura Christine Carroll Rivas, all of Landrum; four brothers, Kenneth Carroll and wife of Akron, Ohio, Walter Scott Carroll and wife, Craig Carroll and wife and Robert Carroll and wife, all of Green Creek; a sister, Mary Ruth Robinson of Green Creek; and seven grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 – 2 p.m. Thursday, December 31, 2009 at Stateline Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. at the church, conducted by Rev. Randy Metcalf.&bsp; Burial will be in Rowe Family Cemetery.
