The cafe is planning book and poetry readings, music, open mics, and other entertainment. Free Wi-Fi is offered.
Zenzera recently partnered with Spartanburgs Carolina Gallery to display work by local artists such as Patricia Cole-Ferullo and Carol-Beth Icard.

The Lake Lanier Tea House
“As many of you know, we have been searching for a new chef for what feels like a very long time,” owner Patty Otto announced recently. “Although the staff and our guest chefs have done their best to ensure consistency and great food, we know that it has been far from the standards that we strive to achieve at the Tea House. You have our apologies and our gratitude for sticking with us through this difficult time.”
Otto said the Tea House has now hired David Sparacino, an executive chef from the Hendersonville area. Sparacino grew up in the restaurant business, studied abroad and has owned several restaurants over his career. He has earned many awards for his culinary creations, Otto said.
Jon Deaver from Greenville, S.C., has been hired as the Tea House Sous Chef. Deaver has years of experience in the restaurant business and most recently had his own business as a personal chef. He is also the father of 7-month-old twins and has a 7-year-old stepson.
