Helen Marrow

Helen Marrow, 95, of Tryon died on December 19, 2009 as a result of injuries sustained in a fall.

Born in Detroit, Michigan, she grew up in Maryland then moved to New York City where she worked for the Girl Scouts and Saks Fifth Ave. for 26 years doing window displays. Later she moved to Westchester County where she attended many horse shows as an avid spectator and friend of many riders. Her daughter, Holly Hugo-Vidal, dedicated her last book to her mother with the inscription to my mother, who never missed a horse show.

Surviving is her daughter, Holly Hugo-Vidal of Tryon.
