With winter just around the corner, Polk County High School’s Indoor Track Season is underway. &bsp;

Athletes must meet qualifying standards to attend the State competition to be held at Chapel Hill on February 14, 2010.&bsp; At a meet at Liberty University on Saturday, December 4-5 two PCHS athletes qualified for State; Maggie Conner in the Women’s High Jump and 55 Meter Hurdles, and Bryan Lieberman in Men’s Pole Vault. &bsp;

Polk County hosted a meet on December 9 with nine area schools competing.&bsp; Two Wolverine athletes qualified for State: John Spencer Wolfe in the 3200 Meter Run and Ethan Rhodes in the Long Jump.
